Quality control and testing
Quality control at a pipe factory is not a final inspection. A final inspection can only reject what has already gone wrong. Our checks sit earlier, and they run in our own laboratory.
What this covers
- Raw material testingFive tests before material enters production: gelation, bulk density, sieve analysis, particle size and thermal stability.
- Finished product testingEleven tests including pressure, impact, chemical resistance, heat reversion, water absorption, tensile strength and elongation at break.
- Independent verificationTesting by SASO laboratories and by Al Hoty-Stanger, an independent testing laboratory.
- Certified systemQuality management certified to ISO 9001:2015, with internal audit and management review built into the policy.
Buried pipe is the most expensive thing on a project to replace. Documented testing lets a consultant approve the material without a site dispute.
