Technical consultation
Most specification problems are cheaper to solve before the order than after delivery. Our technical team reviews the requirement with you and says plainly which product we can supply, to which standard, and in which class.
What this covers
- Product selectionWhich family fits the application — pressure, drainage, conduit, fittings, CPVC or perforated — and which of the standards we manufacture to (SASO, ASTM, DIN, BS, ISO, NEMA) the specification calls for.
- Pressure and temperature deratingAdvice on the class required for the service temperature, using the derating relationship for each pipe class.
- Class and diameter checkThe specified class, diameter and wall thickness are checked against the BOQ line, and any mismatch is flagged before the order is placed.
- Submittal supportProduct data and test documentation to accompany a material submittal to the consultant or project owner.
Worked example. A 7 bar working pressure at 40 °C requires a 10 bar rated pipe.
