Storage and handling
Store pipe in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Where pipe must be stored in the sun, cover it so that the pipe ends stay open for air to pass through, which keeps heat build-up to a minimum. Store on level ground clear of stones and sharp projections, on timber bearers at least 75 mm wide spaced one metre apart. Store solvent cement and cleaning fluid in a cool, dry place.
