Aqtar Najd white UPVC pressure pipes with red identification stripe

Overview

Unplasticized PVC pressure pipe for water supply, irrigation and industrial lines. Manufactured across the full class and SDR range, in metric and imperial series.

Pressure and temperature. Pressure rating reduces as service temperature rises. As a worked example, a 7 bar working pressure at 40 °C requires a 10 bar rated pipe. Our technical team will confirm the class required for your service temperature.

Where it is used

Storage and handling

Store pipe in a well-ventilated, shaded area. Where pipe must be stored in the sun, cover it so that the pipe ends stay open for air to pass through, which keeps heat build-up to a minimum. Store on level ground clear of stones and sharp projections, on timber bearers at least 75 mm wide spaced one metre apart. Stack loose pipe no more than one metre high and bundles no more than three metres, with nested pipe at the bottom of the stack. Keep elastomeric rings in the shade and fit them only when the pipe is in the trench and ready for jointing. Store solvent cement and cleaning fluid in a cool, dry place.

Quality

Material is tested in our own laboratory before and after it becomes pipe. See our quality and certifications.
